Terms of sale
Last updated 12 October 2026
These terms apply when you buy rides from this site. Please read them before you pay: when you tick the box in your basket you agree to them. Your order is confirmed under the version in force on the day you bought it.
Who we are
Greening Moto is run by Andy Greening, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at any time through the contact form; please quote your order reference (it starts GM-) if your message is about an order.
What you are buying
Each ride is a GPX route file, a digital download for a satnav or a navigation app. The ride page describes the ride, its distance and the riding time. The photographs on this site are illustrations, not pictures of the ride itself. You need a device or app that can import GPX files; please check yours can before you buy.
Prices are in pounds sterling and are the full price you pay. Payment is taken by our payment provider, SumUp, on its own secure page; we never see your card details.
Your order and your downloads
Our contract with you begins when your payment is confirmed. Your rides are then available straight away on your order page, and we email you a private link to it. That link works for 7 days. If it runs out, or the email does not arrive, send us a message with your order reference and we will send you a fresh link.
Keep a copy of your files: once downloaded, they are yours to load onto your own devices whenever you like.
Your right to cancel
When you buy online you normally have 14 days to change your mind. For digital content that right ends once the content is made available to you, if you agreed to that before buying. When you check out you ask us to make your rides available straight away and confirm that you understand you then lose your right to cancel; your order email confirms this. So once your order is paid we cannot cancel it or refund it because you have changed your mind.
If something is wrong with a file
Your rides must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If a file is faulty, will not download or open, or is not the ride you bought, tell us through the contact form with your order reference. We will fix it or replace it, and if we cannot, we will refund you. These are your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing in these terms takes them away.
Riding the routes
Our routes are planned with care from map data, but they are a guide, not an instruction. Roads close, surfaces change, signs and restrictions change, and a satnav can recalculate a route differently from how it was planned. You are responsible for checking a route before you ride it, for following road signs and the law, and for riding within your limits and to the conditions. Do not handle a device while riding.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Using the files
The files are for your own personal use, including riding them with friends. Please do not sell, publish or share the files themselves.
Map data
Our routes are built from OpenStreetMap data, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence. Each GPX file carries the same credit.
Your information
How we use your information is set out in our privacy notice.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your own courts. If something goes wrong, please contact us first: we will do our best to put it right.
Our business address is 8 High Trees, Barnet EN4 9QQ. Please use the contact form rather than post: it reaches us much faster.
