Kirkby Lonsdale Evening River Valley Loop

A short, easy loop that starts at a famous biker meeting spot and heads up a gentle river valley towards a small market town beneath rounded hills. It is ideal for an evening after work, or a quick blast before or after a burger van stop.

The first half is the one to enjoy, with an open valley road and a village every few miles, so keep your speed down through them. The return is quicker and less scenic, with a dual carriageway section around a larger town. Fuel and food are close throughout, and a long summer evening is best.
