About this ride
A day of two halves on the North Norfolk coast and its hinterland. The loop takes in a small river valley and the saltmarsh edge, then slips inland through flint villages, old estates and quiet back lanes where the traffic thins to almost nothing.
The coast road is the busy part, so the loop takes its coast early, while it is calm, and sheds it as soon as it can for lanes. Elsewhere the riding is relaxed and scenic, with plenty of stopping places. It suits a bright morning start and a flexible afternoon.
