About this ride
A short, easy loop around the Suffolk border, across flat-to-rolling clay farmland rather than anything dramatic. The interest is in the variety: old mills, a shallow wooded valley and a handful of villages and small towns where the lanes pass quietly by.
The opening miles are quick main road, after which the loop settles into quiet B roads and lanes. There are no tricky sections and no long days in the saddle, which makes it a good choice for a first Norfolk ride, a shorter outing or an unhurried afternoon.
