About this ride
Open grazing marsh, big skies and the flat, watery edge of the Broads, with a long stretch of sandy coast to begin the day. Windpumps stand in the fields, reed beds fringe the dykes and birds wheel over the water. The landscape feels wide, bright and slightly odd.
The road mix is easy and varied: some coast road, a riverside run, a short stretch of main road and a string of quiet lanes. Nothing is difficult. It is a relaxed short loop, best on a still day when the marsh light is at its softest.
