Flat land, long sightlines and more sky than seems reasonable. This is the Fens on the western edge of Norfolk, where straight drains run to the horizon, fields are laid out like a ruled page and a few villages stand on the only slight rises.
It asks for attention rather than speed. Straight stretches end in sudden right-angle turns, and some of the narrow droves have rough edges and no markings. A short stretch of main road is unavoidable to close the loop. Best on a clear, calm day when the horizon is sharp.
